Melissani Lake
Fascinating Melissani Lake is one of the most beautiful sites on Kefalonia. Situated in a cave, it is well worth a visit. The best time to go and see Melissani is around noon when the sun stands high above the lake and the rays light up the crystal clear water making it an unreal bright turquoise. Look out for the eels!
