Mykonos Old Town

For many travelers, little Old Town Mykonos is still postcard-perfect Greece. Called Chora by locals (meaning “the town”), it’s the capital and largest town on the island of Mykonos, Greece’s party island. The island still has a vibrant nightlife stemming from its rise in popularity in the 1960s. Then the arrival of such celebs as Jackie Onassis, Sophia Loren, Grace Kelly, and others baptized it as one of the Mediterranean’s glitziest islands. Meander the small cobbled streets at night, browsing the many designer shops or stop off for dinner in one of the many excellent restaurants.

Little Venice

Little Venice has rightfully earned its name from the colourful 18th-century Venetian style buildings right on the seafront, with wooden balconies above the sea. It used to be a sea trade center, and the buildings belonged to shipping merchants giving them direct access to the sea. Stop off at Caprice Bar for a cocktail, and stay on for a late night party!

Windmills of Mykonos

The Mykonos windmills are an iconic feature of Mykonos. The windmills can be seen from every point of the village and are the first thing seen when coming into the harbour. There are currently 16 windmills on Mykonos of which seven are positioned on the landmark hill in Chora. Most of them were built by the Venetians in the 16th century, but their construction continued into the early 20th century. They were primarily used to mill wheat and were an important source of income for the people that lived there.

Scorpios Beach Club

On a sun-drenched southern tip of Mykonos, the organic stretch of coastline is a welcoming place where horizons of blue mix with yellows, golds, and pinks born of the generous Cycladic sun. The driftwood daybeds, sepia-toned plaster walls and wicker lampshades might look effortless, but a whole lot of euros have been sunk on those oversized ceramics and macramé hammocks. Sassy melon Margaritas and chunky wooden trays piled with avocado tzatziki, smoked aubergines, and wood-fired prawns laced with chilli and coriander don’t come cheap either. There are close encounters with musicians, mystics, dancers and DJs who lead sunset rituals. Scorpios was named one of the best beach clubs in the world in 2022.
